Newbridge Church – Two-Service Transition FAQ
Launching Sunday, January 11
We are excited to announce that Newbridge is moving to two Sunday services! This is a significant step of faith and obedience as we follow Jesus and live out our mission: Transforming our community for Jesus by providing a safe place to find love, freedom, and restoration.
Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about this transition.
WHY ARE WE MOVING TO TWO SERVICES?
What is the main reason for this change?
This shift is first and foremost a discipleship decision. God is growing our church, and we want to steward that growth faithfully. Expanding to two services allows us to make more room for people to hear the Gospel, experience community, and take next steps in following Jesus.
What practical challenges does this solve?
- Space: We are outgrowing our sanctuary, lobby, and Kids Ministry rooms.
- Flow: Parking and traffic flow improve with two smaller gatherings.
- Potential: One service has become a bottleneck on the ministry opportunities God is giving us.
What are the benefits?
- More room for guests and families
- Greater health and flexibility for volunteers
- Stronger community and unity
- More discipleship environments
- Increased outreach and mission capacity
